Benefiting Organization’s Mission

The 501(c)3 1000 Mermaids Artificial Reef Project & Gallery of 1000 Mermaids is a monumental public EcoArt project in the form of an artificial reef installation that will also serve as an underwater eco-friendly destination for tourism & research. Its mission is to enhance marine habitats and expand fishery populations while providing enhanced creative, economic and educational opportunities for the benefit, education and enjoyment of residents, students and visitors alike.

About the Venue

Located in the heart of downtown Fort Lauderdale, Savor Cinema is the perfect venue for a wide range of events. The newly renovated Courtyard is a 30’ x 40’ completely covered area located on the west side of the building. The space features terra-cotta pavers, beautiful flowering potted plants, ceiling fans, and full electricity.

The courtyard is located on the west side of the building. The area is completely covered by a permanent canopy structure. The area is paved by terra-cotta bricks which feature the names of donors and celebrities and prominent filmmakers who have attended the annual film festival and/or Savor Cinema.The courtyard has 28 electrical outlets providing 60 amps of electricity. The canopy has four ceiling fans and ample lighting for outdoor events.
